EDUCATION SERVICES

Software:

An Apple music software specialist, I'm a level 2 certified Apple trainer for Logic Pro. I teach courses for the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program, Discovery Tools and work with private clients. I formed and lead the Seattle Logic User Group. I've authored three Logic 8 tutorial DVDs for Groove 3: Music Production With Logic 8 and Logic Operator Vols. 1 and 2.

I also give classes and tutor individuals on Soundtrack Pro and GarageBand. I demonstrated Soundtrack Pro for Apple, Inc. at the 2007 NAB trade show.

 

Music:

I've taught guitar for over 30 years - all styles. I spent over 20 years in the Shoreline Community College music department teaching private and group guitar lesson and running (and arranging for) a guitar ensemble.

I work with musicians on improv, theory, and ear training. I strive to get these all integrated. Here what you play, understand why it works. I'm also a chord melody specialist, for those interested in that jazz guitar idiom.

I also help musicians on their composition projects, assisting with writing, arranging and orchestration as needed.
